Minneapolis Cafe Barbette, a popular restaurant in the Uptown area of Minneapolis, closed voluntarily over the weekend after learning about a Salmonella outbreak at the restaurant.
Hennepin County was cited as saying there are more than 20 reported cases.
On Monday afternoon, employees reported to work. Some of them carried a new refrigerator into the restaurant.
Barbette's financial controller said the new refrigerator is just one way to ensure Salmonella never gets into the food again.
The city health department has not determined what caused the food poisoning, but the restaurant believes it is isolated to one batch of chilled soup.
